Do I have to change my email provider?
No. Your mailboxes stay where they are. Only your domain's MX records change, so mail passes through the filter first and then arrives at your current mail server.
Can a real email get blocked by mistake?
Suspicious messages are held in a quarantine instead of being deleted. You can review them, release any real email and mark trusted senders as safe.
Does it work with mail hosted somewhere else?
Yes. It works with any domain whose mail runs on cPanel, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zimbra, Exchange or your own mail server.
